My name is Denise, I live in Bradford Ontario. I’m a Healthy Eating Coach and Fitness trainer, who runs this blog all about inspiring women in health, fitness and well food, cause I love cooking and baking and eating! So it makes sense since all these things mesh so well together.
As a mom of 2 boys, who used to be overweight and unhealthy, then just skinny and unhealthy, I started my fitness journey when I was diagnosed in 2014 with an Autoimmune Disease. After spending over 16 years of my career in Paediatric Health Care, I decided to leave my career to pursue my passion in helping women look after themselves. To learn to love and respect their bodies and really to just change the way we (women) think or view what healthy looks like.
As my brand is built around inspiring women to be strong, not skinny and my business is about helping women to take care of their health, through eating healthy and exercise, I have had the ability to impact women on many levels, not only on their fitness and health journey, but helping them build confidence overall. Having been “there” I just get it. I’ve been there but now I am here. And so I use my social media platforms ( Insta & Facebook) and my blog to share all my experiences, to motivate and inspire, to provide free health and fitness tips, free workouts and a ton of healthy recipes and food ideas.
